Has Shimano released any info on when the Curado I will see a lefty cranking version? I think I'm ready to dump my Chronarchs, but I don't wanna be without my cranking reel. I didn't know if Shimano mentioned a date at Icast. Anyone have any info?

A 5:1 in the Curdao I or Chronarch Ci4 would be my ideal reel! I wish they would get on the ball with this.

Last word on that from bantam1 was that they have no plans for a 5.x:1. It's a disappointment, but there will probably be alternatives.

I seriously doubt such reel will ever be manufactured.

The 6:3 should be plenty powerful enough to crank.
