Thinking about getting this rod 6 ft 10 in 4 the new lews tournament mb. Is the micro version worth $20-$40 over the non-micro guide version?

I fish a lot of Falcon rods, I have multiples of the rod you are speaking of in the Cara line.  I have both micro and standard guides on these rods, I can see no appreciable difference in casting distance, sensitivity or rod action.   I would not pay any more for one than the other.
