Lucky Craft Cranking Rods

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any experience with Lucky Craft's cranking rods?

I was doing some browsing on cranking rods and discovered these.  I saw they had a great review from '09 on tackletour, but was wondering if there are better options around today in the sub $200 range.

Currently, I am running 7' Carrot Stix Wild Medium-Moderate.. but am thinking about getting something for deep running cranks, or replacing that rod as my cranking rod and using it for something else (Any ideas on what else I could use that rod for?).

Very nice rod for the $150 range. No hook keeper, so make sure you pick up one of the rubber ring type or have a rod builder add one.

Not as heavy as I was expecting.
