I am new to carp fishing and have only fished with corn. Any spot or places where you can catch carp and/or bait recipes.

Get you a box of shredded Wheat, pull of a small amount in the palm of your hand and dip it in the water. Form the shredded Wheat around your hook in the shape of a ball. Let it sit out of the water for a few minutes cast out and enjoy. The trick is to not set the hook until the carp has it in there mouth and starts running with it.

I stuck my biggest carp, close to 50 pd. on

You can try Lake Mercer. I used to catch carp at Huntsman, but they just drained it this spring. A lot of the fish were moved to Mercer, so there should be a good number of carp there. Try starting at the dam.

 

I've had good luck with corn and bread balls. So you are off to a good start.
