New Guy From Atlanta

Featured Replies

I am a new to Bass Resource, the Atlanta area, and even Bass fishing. I caught my first largemouth bass two weeks ago (3 pounder - btw) and now I am officially hooked. This site has already helped me and I know with all the expertise I will continue to learn more.

My wife is already going crazy watching me surf this site and watch all kinds of bass fishing on YouTube. Man I am addicted!!!

Look fwd to reading all these threads and asking many questions.

Greetings and Welcome to the forums :)

Welcome both to the forums and to ATL.  I moved from NC last year to the ATL area, still trying to find my way around some fishing holes.  This site is a killer resource for information. good luck.

Thanks everyone. I can't stop thinking about the first hook I set. My stepson has been bass fishing for years and learned from his grandpa, who has won many tournaments in IL. So, my son has got me "hooked". My awesome set of golf clubs are now for sale because I need some more tackle and a bass boat. Haha.

Love this site already and it is going to make me spend a fortune.

Thanks fellas...

Btw, like to hear what you come up with. I live 5 minutes from Allatoona Lake and it has been pretty good so far.
