Powell Diesel Casting Rod For Flipping And Pitching?

Featured Replies

I need a flipping and pitching combo for under $100. I fish mostly heavy cover (Milfoil and Pads) up here in Minnesota. Would the Diesel be a good rod? if so which model? Any help is greatly appreciated.

765 model would work.

Look for a clearance Shimano Crucial.  Those are right about $100.

Diesel 765 will fit the bill but remember you are buying a $50 rod. I had one and it worked for it's intended purpose but it's pretty tip heavy and heavy overall. Take a look at the daiwa tatula rods and also *** black rods. Be sure to handle the 13 first because some don't like the trigger.
