Custom Painting A Reel Advice

Featured Replies

I'm very comfortable opening a reel, doing maintenance, and swapping parts but painting one makes me nervous.

Is there anyone on the forum that is good at this that I could have them do it? Obviously I can pay.

Nothing ultra fancy just a solid color with a glossy finish. Professional looking hopefully.

Thanks

Calfish on Tackletour is the standard by which painted reels are judged. If you can get in touch with him, he will do whatever you want and do it well.

Contact Calfish, you'll have to dissasemble the reel and send only the parts to be painted.

I'm not on tackletour forums...

Any other way I could contact him other than having to join the forum? Man there isn't anyone on here?
