Does anybody have a recycled Bait Recipe they would be willing to part with? I've heard many say that it is a must to always have some plastisol in your remelts, and I have no idea where to go with hardner or softner. Ready to get started, just lookin for a good base to start with

I wouldn't put either in until I poured a few.  As for adding new stuff, I don't do it very often.  When I recycle I know I am bound to wind up with green, brown, or black.  After melting I may add some plastisol if I want a lighter shade.

I did some baits tonight with old comercially made baits (not sure what brand) Amber brown with green flake (gourd green).

 

Added a sqirt of heat stabilizer and heated in the micro. Shot them in a 702 craw mold. They came out fine and same softness as the originals I melted. Remelts do tend to stink a lil though.

They do in fact stink, we made some more molds and decided it's time to step up to the plate and think about injection molding

i have been looking into molds and injection. and im really interested in the practice.   is it really worth it money wise after initial setup cost? or is it just nice to make your own the way you want?     

Its a hobby and an addicting one. You say "just one mold" and then you end up with ten.

 

Most pepople will not save money.

My first tube cost me $300.  The cost has gone down as I have made more but still it is more than store bought.  But I won't go back.
