Is It Weird.....?

I love frog fishing. I love getting big blow ups in lily pads. However, recently I've started to really like getting strikes on my KVD Sexy Dawg more. I think it has to do with being able to usually see the strike out in open water. Also, with the treble hooks I rarely lose fish. I almost always only lose them if they missed the bait. The hooks are really sharp and have a high hook up percentage. I wonder if the success rate also plays a factor in it. I don't land nearly as many frog fish as KVD Sexy Dawg fish. I believe even if I got the same percentage of hook ups I'd still like Dawgs better. I just like seeing the fish hit the lure I guess, with frogs so many times you just see a splash.

Is that weird that I like catching fish with my KVD Sexy Dawg over topwater frogs?

Nah, it'd be weird if you didn't like fishing any type of topwater.  Actually, that'd be sick and I'd recommend seeing a Dr.  'I recommend taking two Sexy Dawgs and don't call me in the morning, go fishing.'

it's not weird if ur talking to a fellow angler.

but don't sit down on a park bench and tell a random stranger..

"I like playing with my dawggies more than my froggies." :eyebrows:

Not weird, it's called catching instead of fishing!

Not weird at all but the best way to get better at sticking frog fish is to keep fishing them.

I throw frogs and spooks a lot - frogs are just more versatile and the more you throw frogs the better your hook-up percentage will become.
