i use a shimano spirex 4000re reel ,now the button on spool came off,yeh still works great ,but cant get the spool off to replace it with the spare one , any ideas? that spare has the button on the spool.

    About all you can do is press inside gently with a screw driver or something to try and activate the release. Be gentle or risk doing more damage.
