Labor Day Sale!

Featured Replies

What have you guys bought? I know no one can pass up a sale. I'm resisting the bait monkey, just because I don't have time to fish that much due to school. I need to make time lol

I've purchased a 7" Slammer, Yo-Zuri Hybrid in 10lb. Smoke and 20lb. Camo, some Dry Creek tubes, a white Spro frog, and a bunch of hooks. I've also got some secret-weapon caliber Siebert jigs that I'll be posting about soon.

Gave in and bought a few things. Some Red Eye Shads for the fall, Storm Arashi Wakebaits I've been wanting to try, some topwater frogs for the remainder of the heat. Bait monkey wins again  :Idontknow:

Yeah I know what you're saying.

Ordered two new Crucial rods this afternoon. The more I've thought about it the more I think I'm going to order one more tomorrow. I picked up the 7'3" H and 7'11" MH today and I'm fairly certain I'm ordering the 6'10" MH tomorrow. I've been waiting on a sale to try these new Crucial rods every since TW got them in. Wait is almost over though as they're suppose to be here tomorrow by 4:30!

I really didn't want to buy anything else this year but I remembered that my brother and I just got 2 new reels and needed line. We will each have to buy a new rod which will need new rod cases. I also needed to reach $50 to get free shipping at Tackle Warehouse.

So I ordered 300 yards of Sufix 832 hi-vis yellow braid, 2 rod covers, and 2 Ish frogs for a total of $50.53.

Can't get much closer than that.

Need nothing.  And still, it took me about 2.5 minutes to get $50 in a TW shopping cart.  :)

So far all I've done was take a flyer and buy a 7'3" Big Bear 3/4 Heavy, Casting Rod. Came out to a little over $150 after the rebate, which is still a lot for me on a rod I've literally never seen in person. But from what I've read, it's a Rainshadow blank, and I think I'm going to really like that synthetic rubber grip.

I might do some more shopping today for some smaller things that will add up to at least $50.

I'm trying to save for a new rod and this TW sale isn't helping...

a handful of jigs from northstar

When is "too many"? When there is no more room in a single tackle box? Or when you have too many to use in a year?

ah well, rather be prepared and try different sizes, colors, heads and different trailers. Only hurts the wallet, right?

When there's no more room in a tackle box, that's when you get another 3700.  :eyebrows:
