Container idea for dipping tubes needed

Featured Replies

I've tried to dip tubes already with little sucess. Actually pretty much none. But I want to give it another shot.

I need an idea of a container that I can make a tube about 6" long and the container needs to be thin on the sides so I dont waste a ton of plastic.

Any ideas? the only one I can think of is a regular house glass but I dont think it will hold up to the heat.

Also is it easier to dip tubes vertically or horizontally?

Try a "Pyrex" measuring cup, They will stand up to very high temps. Just a thought, I know nothing about dipping tubes.

I use a pop can with the top cut off, I just heat the plastic in my pyrex cup and then I pour it into the sut off pop can. You could also get a Monster Energy XXL and cut the top off.
