Keep it.  Finders keepers, losers weepers. lol  I found a soft tackle bag floating on Guntersville one year.  It had several bags of senkos.  The bag was stained like it had been in the lake awile.  The baits were all in good shape.  I was very happy!

There ought to be a "dislike this" button. 

You guys are bunch of saints, do gooders and perfect humans.  Dislike button is a good one too, haven't heard that before.  There IS a learning moment in this thread,,,,  Don't forget your tackle bag at a public fishing hole!   

There's "the right thing," and then there's what many will do.  I'd say the OP got a sampling of each.
