Reel Drag!

Featured Replies

I thought I had this whipped, but it came back. I have a Soron SX10 spinning reel that I really like.  I should say "liked".  It has developed a slight drag at one spot on the handle revolution.  Very annoying!  As I said I thought I had it fixed but, turns out, it is only "fixed" when the anti-reverse is disabled.  So it is likely related to the anti-reverse, but I have no idea how to remedy the situation. I know better than to oil that part of the reel. Been there.

Any help?  Thanks ahead!

Don't fix it.  Good chance Pure Fishing will replace the reel, being a discontinued reel they may fix it instead if it's not in stock, they have a habit of not charging.
