I recently got a lews laser mg and i'm noticing something curious about it. The button you push down before you cast seems to be getting hard to push down. It sometimes wants to lock up. What can i do to fix it? 

It's almost impossible to tell for sure without seeing it. If it's fairly new and you have concerns, Lew's may replace it. In the meantime just look it over and be sure the thumb bar is unobstructed. Maybe try a drop of oil where the thumb bar slides on the frame.

That's funny, I had the exact same problem with an abu Garcia pro max. Must be those $80 reels!

Take it back.  It should be under warranty if you got it recently.
