Glx 852C Jwr

Featured Replies

I have a BCR 852 GLX and a MBR 842 GLX.  Can anyone tell me, besides the split grip and guides, how the JWR compares to them?  I currently use the BCR for tubes with a 1/8 to 1/4 oz weight and the MBR for weightless senkos.  I am looking for something to use with smaller worms on a slider head.  I already have a Dobyns DX701 for even smaller baits and could get a 702, but I want to learn about the JWR before I decide.

I had the old version of the 803c GLX (waiting for new one to come in should be here today).  I used it for weightless senkos and light Texas rigs.  It is, in my opinion, the perfect rod.  I like the 6'8" length, it's very accurate at casting, the sensitivity is off the charts, and hooks sets are easy.  I am not sure how the new one will stack up against the old but I start a post when it comes in and I get a chance to check it out.
