just ordered two powell endurance rods!   one 7'1" 4 power casting rod&one 6'10" 3 power spinning rod.i cant wait! I NEVER dreamed i'd own $200 rods.i hope it will be a little nicer than the cherrywood i'm using.Lol

i just recently splurged and got my first abu garcia  (first rods not from dicks sporting goods)   and so far i love them!    good luck with yours hope they work well!

When you get them and use them post what you learned, I'm sure you'll like them much better than what you've been using. Most guys who never used a rod above $50 really can't believe how good a rod in the $150 - $200 feels in hand and when using it, the first time on the water is where you really appreciate it, especially after you make a few hundred cast and understand how much heavier your other rods were . Congrats on the purchase, they are good rods.

By by Cherrywood.  You probably won't want to use it again unless as a crankbait rod.  I second Dan.  Give us a review after using them a bit.  I read good things about Powell rods, but somehow haven't managed to buy one yet.....and I've got rods form at lest 13 different companies.
