New To Me Lake

Featured Replies

Caught these two on a nice warm Saturday.  The first one flippn' a Black/Blue jig and Rage Craw in about 2 FOW by a log along the bank at the entrance of a river , and the second one on a spinner bait in about 8 FOW in a cove. Not huge but 2 fish at a new place. The only thing that sucked was that I lost 5 lures, 2 spinners, 2 jigs (Jackalls which I didn't pay full price for thank goodness) , and a swim bait. :cry4:

Nice catch. I always like it when I can catch something at a new place.

You seem to manage some nice fish every time out! new spots are fun and there is that excitement of the unknown. Especially when they deliver like that :)

Would be nice if I can catch a pig once in a while, but I ain't complaining. Don't know where you are located, but I caught these at Lake Henry off 202 at the Ramapo Reserve by the Ramapo College.

I'm in Morris County but don't mind driving for good fishing

Obviously you catch fish and I think when you do that you are bound to start running into some big ones. But still, those are some healthy fish!

Nice fish!!  Congrats.

Bummer on losing that many lures.

That's alright I'll just have to place an order with you.

Congrats on the fish!  Although it sucks about the lake "donations".
