as the topic states? what do you think is the better value?

Premier is lighter and has a few more bells and whistles. The ci4 is a smooth long caster in a small package. Both are great but the ci4 gets my vote for value.

Both a once again awesome reels and weigh about the same. I would go ci4 based on the price and line management system "propulsion"

At $200 I'm looking at manufacture's customer service as part of the value equation.  On a performance level I wouldn't favor one over the other.

My vote goes to Shimano here
