Very nice.  I want to get my plaster molds started, and do some of this...  That would be killer.    I am assuming you used a senko style mold?

As for the color, I just started mixing stuff and it turned out pretty decent

I used a 5" stik mold from del-mart

Did they turn out as soft as a Yamamoto? The reason I ask is I bought some *** and i have been testing. One thing I like better is Yamamoto's are softer and have a little different action when wacky rigged so I like the softness but you give durabity I'm not sure but I think this is what seperates GY Senkos from all other stick baits. I just hate the price.

Believe it or ot they actually turned out too soft, so I started adding more salt and they got a lot better.  As for being close to GYCB, I dont think anyone will ever be exactly the same, but they are "similar".

Well, eventually it will save me money, but right now its pretty expensive.  I got to get my friends buyin some off of me to make some profit  

i have found that it is not hard to make a bait that is as soft as yammomoto when hand pouring.  i also have had the problem of them being too soft or what i call "jelly worms".  these are actually great for wacky rigging.

i think that the salt content and softness are what seperates teh senkos from other sticks.  many people swear by the dingers or *** but for me the original is best of the mass produced lures.  i like to pour myself so i dont have to worry about the fact that the super soft sticks dont last long.

If you want them to be as rip-able as a yamamoto, use the thicker grain salt like they do  (Because they SO appreciate your $$).  Same amount as many of the others but by using the thick grain, they will rip much easier,lol.  

As for softness for wacky, don't go too soft, senko77 brought some of his hand pours up last year and he had some ultra softs.  when wacky rigged, the tips just flail up and actually touch on the drop,...no good.  SOME rigidity is needed to make that killer wiggle.
