Folks, If I dug long enough I could probably find what I'm looking for but then again, I'm lazy and just about every topic has been dealt with at one time or another with numerous repeats so why should I break precedence?  Anyhow, my boat carpet is both ugly AND needs replacing.  It looks like I have to remove the plywood to remove and replace the carpet.  I'm at a loss with HOW to remove it.  There are no obvious fasteners anywhere on the floor and, for the deck, they must be underneath- in the "crawl space" under the deck.  The access opening on the side of the deck is rather small and I'm not as skinny or nimble as I used to be.  So, how does one go about this without resorting to a saws all.  Any quick tips?  Thanks in advance!!!!

You may not have to remove the deck. Lacquer thinner will loosen the carpet so you can pull it up. You'll need a place totally away from any flames as it is highly flammable. Pour it on let is set a bit then pull up the carpet is the way I have done it. Then you can see how the deck is attached and if or not you need to remove it.

You may be lazy.......but your best bet is to do a little searching here on the forum and Google.

I did my carpet last year.......not too difficult.......but very handy to watch a few videos.

It will make your boat look a lot better.....that's for sure......but there is the possibility that it will look like crap if not done right.
