Need to pick up some gear. What are your favorite baits for these categories?

1)Football Jigs

2)Deep Diving Crankbaits

3)Bladed Swim Jigs

4)Drop Shot Rigs and Baits

5)Shakey Head Jigs (Or Jointed Head Jigs)

6)Texas Rigs For Big Worms

FYI.. I would like to go for tungsten weights, and would like to save pennies if I can.

Thanks,

Jakob

That is a really great price on those weights!! Have you had a successful order from there before?

Need to pick up some gear. What are your favorite baits for these categories?

1)Football Jigs  - Siebert Outdoors Jigs or Greenfish Tackle Crawball

2)Deep Diving Crankbaits - I don't use these from the bank, I have a 6th Sense 250 and it worked the one time I used it

3)Bladed Swim Jigs - Siebert Outdoors Fogy's, the ones you buy online are sooo overpriced. If you have the money, D&M Piranhas are good. Z'Mans always fall apart on me and the hook isn't very good

4)Drop Shot Rigs and Baits - Zoom finesse worms, Roboworms

5)Shakey Head Jigs (Or Jointed Head Jigs) - Megastrike Shake 2

6)Texas Rigs For Big Worms - Ol Monster

FYI.. I would like to go for tungsten weights, and would like to save pennies if I can. - Tungsten from Siebert Outdoors is pretty cheap

Thanks,

Jakob

The Deep diving cranks, well that depends on what you consider deep.  I would say Storm Wiggle Warts are always good early cranks, and I like Norman's DD-22's, SK 3XD and 5XD's.  Throw in the SK 3's  with those four baits you are covered from 7ft to about 15ft.

Dropshot, I know there are mixed thoughts of the VMC spinshot hooks, and cylinder sinkers....lead would be my choice and some Kietech Live Impacts and robo worms.

Have to agree with the Siebert Fogy's for blades as well as some of his football jigs. Small football jigs, I would go with Bass Patrol's football jigs.

Don't fish a lot of big worms or shakey heads so no opinion on those two.

How much is shipping cost from Siebert Outdoors?

1&3 check out true south custom lures they are amazing. Hand tied double powder baked heads and amazing colors.

Its 5.75 flat rate. Theres a 15 percent sale too. You can buy his jigs wire tied and they would still be cheaper than a lot of others

Old hippie jigs

Caught my attention

This is just about word for word what I would've said.  Only thing I would add is to look at jigs from Dirty Jigs.  They're not hand tied but those colors are legit.  Also the Fred Roumbanis Boom Boom swimjig with a spinnerbait blade on the back has got me some real good bites this year.

Yes, I really like the Dirty Jigs California Swim jigs. Some of the best paint jobs around. Revenge is pretty good too, but pricey.
