If You Were In The South

Featured Replies

I'm new to fishing offshore and using electronics but if you where fishing a lake say in Georgia or north florida what would you look for offshore this time of year?

I would use those electronics you got and find what I was looking for.

Look for a hump or a road bed.  Look also for some type of other structure like the end of points and steep walls.  Steep drops is a good place for fish to elevator up and down to look for food during the winter.

What Catt said.  If you find the grass, you find the bass.

grass as already mentioned and the road beds are good producers this time of year

Stumps and or rock piles along a steep sun warmed bank.

If you're fishing where I think you're fishing.... jerkbaits around grass is the answer!
