..... One of my biggest issues is going to be my dog. Can't go fishing without her without getting a guilt trip when I get home and risking her freaking out and eating the house. Don't really want to go with a tandem but I don't know where else you put 60 pounds of dog in a kayak?

We have a drama each time that we take the dog for fishing on the canoe, any piece of wood on the water will be a temptation to jump and chase it and the drama is to put him back on the canoe and not    have a wet trip, salt water fishing is another story he love the bay, the sand and camp on the tent. That's kind of what I'm hoping she would do but my dog thinks she's a lap dog and loves to cuddle up with anyone who will let her. I can just imagine her trying to climb into my lap while I'm sitting in a kayak. I think she'd probably do fine, just have the worse case stuff going through my head.

She doesn't jump out of the boat, fallen out a few times, but never jumped out.

Look up natives I know a couple people who fish out of me with a dog and are fine
