Dinks seem to be 50 % of what I catch!

Still it's fun to catch em,

And its better than no fish at all!....

That last fish looks like a farmed rainbow..

Wouldn't you need one more to have a square root of a dink??

There's a reason I have never caught one that size in a stocked lake (these were in a creek so no bass)...They don't survive long enough to get caught  . I can say swimbait

Believe it or not, we can use trout as bait, just not in trout waters (thank god, there would be no big bass if the same guys who chunk carolina rigs with powerbait started using trout as bait there, it's bad enough when they snag them on beds and keep them)

Good answer and fish.  That's about the size of half the stockers they put in city lakes out here.  When the fish figure it out, they wait patiently and the min they hit the water it's feeding time.

We can use them here too, but I've never tried it. Any fish caught legally that is of legal size is okay to use for bait, even bass.
