Swimbait Color

I'm looking into getting a couple hudd 68 weedless and I need help choosing a color.

A couple of the lakes I fish have perch, one has trout, one has large gizzard. I usually don't ask about lure colors, but it seems to me that matching the hatch is more important with large swimbaits than other techniques. Would perch do an adequate job of bream imitation or even carp/small pike? Think I would have more success throwing that than gizzard color in a lake without shad? People say they use trout in lakes w/o and still catch bass.

The whole point of a swimbait is to be a very natural immitation of a baitfish, so I would definitely match the natural forage.

I like the baitfish colors myself, hitch is my favorite.
