Anyone use FLW (WALMART PLASTICS)

Featured Replies

I went out to the lake yesterday and noticed i forgot most of my plastics at my fishing partners house..... I had a few bags of FLW's i bought from wally world for 50 cents.   Took them out and caught about 6 bass on them.  We had 3 people in the boat and caught a total of 14 bass.

I will be buying more of these FLW'S ....

I might have to pick some of those up this afternoon.  Are they a worm, or some kind of shad?  It couldn't hurt if they are that cheap...  :)

I've used their French Fry baits for C-rigging before and done well with them.

The ones i have are a worm but they do resemble a shad.  like the other poster says they are very soft and are a finesse worm.  They smell great and if i was a bass id hit it :)

I am going to have to look the shelves over again.  I went last night, and only left the store with a couple hard baits, and a new tackle bag...  lol  I couldn't find the FLW anywhere in there...  I might have just over looked it...

Last summer, I used that green pumpkin and the red shad finesse worm from FLW, used to whack'em on those two.  Those worms have some lively action to them. I also have a package of green pumpkin flipping tubes, too.  I have not been able to find the brand anymore at the local wal mart anymore though.

From what i understand they aint gonna  make um anymore i mean under the FLW name ,I bought a whole lot in january for 25  to 50 cents beavers and lizards .Manns baits are underrated and if you look at there website  they have so much to choose from.If i walk into a fishing store and i see manns baits thats all i buy>i can garentee ya that no matter where

you are you will CATCH fish with a MANNS plastic. And this year im hoping to break Marylands state record  and im pretty sure if i do it will be with a manns  jelly worm or augertail.. :) :) :)

While I don't use FLW brand lures one of my best worms for bigger size bass is Wal-Mart's Renegade worm. The one I use is 6 long black with silver dust size glitter, a simple hook tail, I call it my do nothing worm.

I purchased a bunch of FLW plastics a couple months ago when they were all on clearance mostly lizards and craw trailers is what they had they changed the modulars in the fishing section and dont think there going to carry FLW anymore atleast not in my store.
