Tracker Pro 17 Power Poles

Featured Replies

The Micro Power Poles are rated to 1500lbs.. What are some opinions on the use of 2 Micro Units on this 16' 8" Boat at 900lbs.. I like the cost factor plus being able to remove the poles when not needed. Brian.

1500lbs is hull, motor, fuel, livewell, gear, and fisherman. My money says your at or over the 1500lbs. Just get a Sportsman II or a Talon. Talon can be removed in 2 minutes with the quick release handles and 5 minutes without, as long as you use a plug/receptacle.

Even if your boat is under their rated weight I would get regular power poles. I have the micro on my 15 foot Jon and its great but having a pole stick nearly 10 feet up in the air is a hassle around trees and small bridges
