Who do you use, if anyone, for roadside assistance/towing of your boat?

 

My insurer does not offer that option................so I am looking at Boat US or sea tow maybe.

Both are good and better then nothing.  I know assisting a vessel (towing one in) without a membership is quite costly.  You will be charged from the time they leave their dock/location till they get back at an hourly rate.  Refusal to pay can result in them keeping your boat until you do with fees.  Look and see which has the most coverage in your area or uses partners to cover where you are would be my advice.

I had Progressive. Only had to use it once when I spun a hub coming home from a long road trip. I was almost an hour from home but after giving them my location they sent a flatbed and hauled my boat the rest of the way home for me for no charge.

X2 on progressive. I had them on all my boats and still have them on my vehicles. Nothing but high praises to them. I damaged my new trolling motor getting to a fish that hung up in a tourny. Slammed a stump at full speed (101 lb thrust). Called progressive, told me to get a quote. Called my local marine shop, they faxed the quote and I had a new trolling motor the next day.
