Featured Replies

I got board awhile back and I was cruising barlows and so I bought two molds.

Glad I did these things are sweet. I'm wondering why I never made football heads before now. :-?

Soon to be a whole lot of shaking going on?

i gotta couple football jigs im working on right now. I changed the do-it mold to take the hook you use and i got some cool color combos to fish this powerplant lake that gets hammered by every lure on the shelves. So since its will not be like any of them i should do good with it lol.

I'm still kicking around the idea of my first mold being a football head.  I really like the fact that they don't tip over as easily as other head designs.

Looking good there G, I love the football head design for the shaky, especially in rocky areas. I have some other type with that head, but only a small thin wire to hold the baits which always come off when pulling through cover. Really like the spring to hold them on.

You planning on selling those bad boys? Would love to get my hands on some in 1/4 oz  ;)

AT-  I've never fished football heads before but just from looking at it I really like the design.  I can tell I'm going to really like these for rocky situations

Joe,if you want some send me a pm and see what we can work out. Might even be interested in a trade you for some hand pours.

Football jigheads are advertised for rocky situations, but I've tested them out around timber as well.  Not very many problems...no more than most other styles.  They kinda bite around grass though, that's the only problem.  But really, no jighead is perfectly suited for grasses because of the fiberguard and profile issue anyway.  Footballs are one of my favorites.

GMAN made me a bunch of the football jigs and they look great. The attention to detail is impressive.
