Allstar Classic Rod

Featured Replies

Has anyone used one of these rods? If so give me the good and bad. Someone gave me a Abu Garica Cardinal and was thinking of pairing the two. Any feedback would be appreciated thantks

I've used them and my dad still has one of the small spinning rods in that lineup. Not the most sensitive or lightest rods but they get the job done.

When they first came out, the All Star rods were first rate, cutting edge technology.  They are still decent rods, I have a few that still get used from time to time.   Did you get a spinning or a bait casting model?

As said above, the original Classics were very good. I've still got my original WR1 worm rod plus another new one I found on ebay. I know there are lighter & more sensitive rods now & I own some of them. But the WR1 is always rigged in my boat. It just works for me.
