New Carbonlite Rods

Featured Replies

Only if you guys knew!! lol.. But come on, 85 million modulus for $99 really?? Im all for marketing, but ....

Lol They are doing well with it though. Look everyone is talking about them!

Depends where you read, some areas it says that and then on certain pages it says this:

" A CarbonLite rod is a thing of beauty, built on an ultra-rich carbon-fiber blank that compares favorably to 85 million modulus (IM9) graphite."

The new CL rod has a line weight indicator on the butt section.

"Bass Pro Shops' Line ID system that allows anglers to keep track of and easily identify the line weight used on each rod and reel setup"

The new Quantum Smoke rod has a line indicator on the butt as well.

"A new patent-pending Line Weight Indicator on the butt of the handle also provides a whole new level of convenience, allowing you to quickly identify which pound test is on your setup."

Comparative 7' length M power the old Smoke was lighter than the old Carbonlite by 1/2oz or so.

Cool. Thanks. Look forward to the comparison.

Hoping to get to BPS this week, but not sure I

will be able to.

Sorry I couldn't get to go.  My travel plans changed for work and I wasn't in the area.
