Needed Advice...

So, last weekend I whipped my old man while he threw his beloved Alabama rig. This weekend, weather permitting, he's changing tactics on me and we won't be fishing the shallows where my usual Jointed Shad Raps work. He's gotten word that they're hitting near bluffs on the A rig. Should I follow suit of stick to my plugs? I'm too stubborn to give up my hard earned money to our weekly bets.

This looks like a job forrrr....The Banjo Minnow!!!

Tell him you cant make it, and reschedule for next weekend.

That way he cant rely much on his little piece of intel anymore.

I would just stick with your guns unless he starts tearing them up on the a rig, then I would just switch to the a rig.

Get a deeper crankbait ... And one swimbait ... Lol

Banjo minnow...brings back memories. And I can't turn down the chance to fish. And what kind of swimbait/hooks do you prefer in stained water hovering around the mid 40s? Caught fish last week as low as 44.

If I'm having a contest with some one I'd make a decision on what to use when I got on the water.

Suspending jerkbait for starters.

Lipless crankbait.

Jig and Pig.

Spinnerbait slow rolled.

Drop Shot.

Shad Rap.

Crankbaits of your choice.

You have to find the depth the bass are holding and then attack them at that depth.
