We need one to eliminate the silliness that always seems to be the "entertainment" at half-time during the game. Interesting game tonight so far. Why do we need the rest of this nonsense?

Let's see, do I want to listen to Katy perry, or the lamest crew of commentators I've seen in years?

I grabbed a book, and assumed position on the throne.

I searched the Internet and caught only the last part of the show right before it ended.

 

I must admit the fireworks were outstanding at halftime.

 

Maybe we should start a thread asking for input on the different kinds of half time shows we could have in the future.

 

Of course, we will keep it clean as this is a family blog.

 

I bet we will receive many good suggestions we can pass onto the NFL.

Come on, we all know every guy was upset because she didn't have a wordrobe malfunction

this year's half time show was 100 times better then Beyonce.  Honestly from a performance view, this one was better then pretty much all of them in the last 10 years.  But I would rather see a tribute to our troops overseas that give us the ability to enjoy the things we do.  Why can't we give them 30min of tribute and respect they deserve on a national stage?

That don't mean any thing. Slash, the red hot chilli peppers, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith and Tom petty and the heart breakers. Have all played a Superbowl half time. In the last ten or so years. Other then slash saving the halftime a few years ago. They all sucked. Flea didn't even have his bass plugged in to any thing. No matter who gos out now. It is so over produced any more, and they don't even play live. Thanks to Janet Jackson, the FCC, the NFL and over protective parents. Yet these parents let little jimmy play grand theft auto. Were the object of the game is to kill people, steal cars, and go at it with a hooker.

 

I did have a good laugh at a friends suggestion though. He said let Rammstein play live. If you don't know Rammstein. They are a German heavy metal band. That would make Marilyn Mason look like a Saint. I will post a tamer version of them. Then I will let you guys decide if you want to see more. Some of there stuff is not even safe for early teens. Its not there music that is bad. Its the live shows that can be bad.

I'm more interested in the game, at halftime I'm taking care of some bodily needs.

Not too crazy for the commentators, there are no Mel Allens or Van Patricks any more.
