Need help finding this buzzbait

Featured Replies

A couple years back I bought a buzzbait which just got hammerd'em everytime I went out.  Well, I have been out of the country for the past couple of summer's with the Navy and I am getting ready for my big year this year.

The buzzbait I can't remember the name of was normal enough except for the hook was held on with braided metal or wire rope (or whatever you want to call it).  It made it real easy to get out because unlike solid bodied buzzbaits you could "bend" the hook to whatever angle you needed with your pliers to help remove it with less harm to the fish.

I was at BPS last week with hopes of finding more to replace my one, but no luck.  Color is not important (although it was brown and black with gold blade).

Anyone have any idea who makes this buzzbait?

I think your talking about the Leverage buzzbaits. Im not sure if they still  sell them or not. I think they were bought by another company. I am not 100% sure about that though.

You should post this in the "Fishing tackle" section, you would get more answers ....

anyway, I agree with LakeannaBasser, I think this is the Leverage buzzbait you're talking about.

And I don't think it's manufactured any longer, I think Booyah Baits Co. took over Leverage .... and now Booyah has a double-prop buzzbait that features the Leverage system. It's called the Booyah Bi-you.
