Living Rubber

Featured Replies

Anywhere that I can get smaller strand living rubber.  I can only find the larger strands at Fishing Skirts.  Would appreciate any info.

Livingrubber.com, but take it from me, the fine grade is really hard to work with. I've never used the medium. The heavy is all right to work with.

Not sure how fine your looking for, I teach fly tying classes at the Local  Veterans Hospital  and I buy from

Fly Tyers Dungeon.com

its about a 1.00  pack he has 4 sizes just don't be in a big rush it takes him a week to get the orders out but well worth the wait

That is silicone, the same skirt making material we use for jigs and spinnerbaits, what the OP is taling about is actual rubber skirt material. I use fly tyers Dungeon for flash and dubbing and they don't sell the stuff the OP is looking for.

Round strand rubber, 40 strands per inch, available from Barlows Tackle.

Living rubber has fine round rubber called frog hair, need to call them.

The fine cut flat rubber often works better than round.
