You really can't go wrong at Sand Hollow. The fishing is great, especially in July. Soft plastics, jigs and frogs/toads are good choices as far as lakes go. PM me when you get to St George and I'll tell you what spots to fish. Good luck

I've fished it twice and did well both times. I don't know what the weed growth will be like in July, but plastics worked for me both times. from the shore and boat. Drop shot and weightless plastics Fun place. Can't wait to go back

It's a great lake, as it's nearby Quail Creek, which isn't as good for numbers but produces more 5 pound plus fish.

This is spot on!  Sand Hollow for numbers and a few bass down deeper, and Quail for the lunkers if you have the patience.

What's a good day numbers wise at Quail Creek?

well I fish both sand hollow and quail   quail has bigger fish in it a good day on quail is about 10 to 15 fish day

What are the best baits for quail?

well I use swim bait  drop shot rig  senko  also  crank baits  over  at quail

A good day for me at Quail is one!  I don't know why, but I just can't get that lake figured out.  Everything I've caught has been during spring in the inlet, never in the main body of the lake.  I've seen some people that kill it there, and will go 15+ with 3 fish, but I usually can't even get a baby!
