Alright guys a need help making a decision. Should I go with a Diawa Lexa 100 for $69.99 PLUS a $10 gander mountain giftcard. OR Ardent Apex Tournament PLUS a $100 gander mountain giftcard? I know the Lexa is a better reel, I really don't know much about Ardent. I need to make my decision by the end of the day. Any and all input welcomed.

i've got 2 lexas.  love 'em.  i can't speak for the ardent, although i have picked them up and fooled with them and they feel legit.  they are crazy light too. 

 

both are good reels and i don't think you'll go wrong either way.  i'd say if reel weight is an issue, go with the ardent.  if not, i'd take the lexa.

Well at my Gander Mountain they are giving away a $100 giftcard with the purchase of an Ardent Apex. I was skeptical at first because how can they sell a reel for $100 bucks then give you a $100 giftcard? I asked a sells associated and he confirmed that was the promo they are running. So, I guess the question is does the $100 giftcard justify getting the slightly inferior reel...  

Get the reel that gives you the $100 card, then use the card to buy the other reel. You then get two reels for the price of one. Problem solved

Get the Ardent, and use the $100 gift card to buy the Lexa.

Where are you seeing that Ardent deal at? On Gander's website, it states that for the 99$ Apex Tournament, you will also receive only a 15$ gift card.

It was an in store promo. It said it on a sign right by the reels. It didn't make sense to me, but the sales associate confirmed. Unless he didn't know what he was talking about which could be possible.

Get the ardent, get the gift card, ebay the ardent, buy a lews

Get the Ardent, sell it for a bit of money, use that plus the gift card to buy a nicer reel.

this should not even be a question. From you have told us they are going to give you the Apex for free. WoW, I think someone might lose their job over this one.
