I'm looking for about a 7 foot medium spinning rod. What do you guys think is the best option for between 100-150 dollars?

I recently purchased a Phenix Maxim and have been really impressed with it.

Tons of good options in that price range though. I like Fenwicks offerings a lot. The new Abu Ike rods look nice as well.

Powell Rods have a really good following. The max or endurance series would be good for you.

There are a ton of different rods in that $100-$150 range and I think it's mostly personal preference as to what you choose and not necessarily a "best" one.  Go to your favorite store and grab a few to mess with.....it may come down to what handle you like best.....you never know!

For the 150 price range it would be the Fenwick Aetos, I have the 7' M/F it is always on deck. 

What do you want to do with it? Drop shot? Finesse? All around?

Own a  Denali Kovert 6'10" M/M, paired with a Shimano Symmetry 2500.  From dropshots, senkos and even a little spring topwater , the stick was a trooper.
