so i have a wilderness ride 135 and love it.  fish out of it every chance i get.

my wife does not go, but she likes to take some leisurely paddles and weekend float trips on the chattahoochee river.  we always borrow a yak from someone, but i decided to get one just for her.  she had already pointed out this particular model a while back so i knew what she wanted, FINALLY pulled the trigger today.

perception sport swifty 9.5

seems well made, decent seat, a little short but perfect for her.  now maybe i can get her out on the water to do a little fishing!!  (wishful thinking)

You should have gotten a tandem, she paddles, you fish!

Tandems usually lead to divorce !!

I think this should translate to more time on the water for you, win-win!

Me and my brother used a tandem.  Lasted about 20 minutes, and ended in a Lucha Libre styled wrestling competion. (not really)  But we do only use singles now.

I'm in the same boat...  wife like to paddle around and nap, sitting up, in our 2nd kayak.  As far as a tandem with her paddling and me fishing, yeah, not seeing it...
