Falls Church Holes

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I'm new to submitting to this forum but I have viewed it multiple times. I have recently moved to the Falls Church area and with some good fishing coming up the next few months I was wondering if there was anyone who knew of some good places for me to get access to.

Unfortunately, I was not able to bring my bass boat in the move and it is still in storage back in Roanoke while I go to school. With that being said, is there a solid few places I can go to catch some fish from the bank within a 45 minute drive?

Any information would be great.

Thanks,

Zack

Zack, welcome to the Forum.

Please go to the Introductions section and introduce yourself.

If possible, please add Falls Church, Virginia to your avatar so we will have your geographical location to give you more specific answers.

Going to Georgetown or George Washington up that way?

As for fishing within Falls Church city limits, I have no idea. The public schools are one of my clients but I don' take the time to fish as it is always a hassle to drive from Richmond to Falls Church on a good day.

We have a good gang of guys and gals from NOVA on this site and I am sure they will help you find places to fish from the bank.

Zack, there is lots of good fishing in NOVA.  Check out the Virginia game and inland fisheries page, it lists places to fish by region.  Also, if you are on facebook, look up Northern Virginia Fishing, it's a great resource for NOVA fishing.

Take a look through this thread.  Good stuff.  Might be time to resurrect it for new reports this spring.  Do you plan to rent a boat?  Looking for a ride?  Or, best opportunities for bank fishing?

Also, there's storage options around here.  Not exactly cheap, but if you're paying for storage now, it might be worth the premium to have your boat close®.

Sorry for not introducing myself in a proper manner. That is my fault for not knowing the proper ins and outs of this forum.

Thank you guys for the info and I will be checking out the links you have posted as well as the facebook page.

I am not sure if I would be renting a boat but as for now I am looking at just fishing from the bank. Again, thanks for the quick replies.
