Does anyone own one? How do they compare to other travel rods? Ratings accurate?

i pulled the trigger on one a couple months ago the 7'MH but i haven't got to use it yet it fells good in my hand but i also got it a lot cheaper from fisherman's warehouse for $89 but they raised their price recently to $129 but with a 5 year warranty id tell you to go for it, thats what sold it for me

I was going to jump on one at FW but they had already raised the prices. No one in my area carries them but they definitely are attractive even at retail.

I have a 7' MH spinning, it's nice, I got it for when my wife, son and I go on trips throughout Florida so I don't have keep my full rods with me.

Right now on TackleDirect you can get $10 off $100 by entering the code SPRING15 or you can get $15 off of $200 by entering TACKLE3

I keep on top of deals haha. They run $129.95 on their website.

Cool thanks!

Does it fish like a MH? Lighter? What size reel do you have on it and how does it balance?

Yeah, it casts nice, handles nice when reeling fish in. I've used a Daiwa Procyon 3000 ex on it and a Stradic 3000 with 10lb braided on both. Balance compares to some of my St. Croixs.

I have the M and the MH (and a M spin). All are very nice and quite fast -powerful nearly all the way out. Both have very powerful butts. M is rated to 3/4oz the MH to 1oz. And they are not far from each other. The M has a lighter tip -nice for shorter casting but is very powerful in the butt.
