i know i recently asked about the best $100 rod and reel but i decided to save and get a more expensive reel so has anyone tried the lews team lite speed spool?i was thinking about that reel and a falcon Bucoo either 6'10 or 7'0 MH hows that combo sound?

That reel is very new. I picked it up and cranked it a few times the other day at a Field & Stream store. Seems as nice as my other lews, those knobs are nice. What exactly are you wanting to do with this rod/combo?

i wanted to use it for like an all purpose combo, like fines jigs below 1/2oz, light cover frogs, smaller t-rigs, and weightless plastics, do you think theres a better reel for that price, and is lews customer service good?

Lew's customer service is outstanding. I sent 2 reels in for servicing and they mailed them back to the wrong address. When I seen it said they were delivered I called them and informed them I didn't receive them. They realized the error and overnited me 2 brand new reels. The one reel was out of production and they replaced it with a Team Lew's Gold. That was awesome. Brian.

Just go lews and don't look back.
