I'm into makin jigs and have had some great success with the ones I assemble.  I haven't really "made" any per say as I am only putting a Starflash silicone skirt on a football head jig  ;D but I wanted to try soem rabbit fur or maybe some different silicone.  Anyone using rabbit?  What colors and where did you get it?  and any preferences on the silicone skirts out there?  I love starflash but am open to tryin new skirts

I prefer the round rubber to the silicone. It can be bought by the foot or pound in many colors. I get mine from Jann's. They also have rabbit.

I get my rubber and silicone from these two suppliers. Lots of colors available in silicone. I tend to use both rubber and silicone in my jigs or all rubber/all silicone (depending on the lake). Many of my jigs are 3-5 colors. Experiment and see what works best for you. Then make a "cookbook" with all the colors. Then you know what to tie later until you memorize your patterns.
