What Fluorocarbon For Deep Cranks

Featured Replies

I am going to try a different fluorocarbon for deep cranking besides P - Line 100% fluoro last year, as the abrasion resistance wasn't all that good when cranking rip rap. I am thinking of either Seaguar Tatsu or Sunline. Is the Tatsu worth the extra cost? Of the two main sunline choices (sniper and shooter), which of the two has the better abrasion resistance?

I cant say how tatsu did on cranks but i found some 15# on sale last year and used it on my worms and jigs and fell in loce with it. It held up very well even around concrete structures. Also did not seem to get memory as fast as the invisx i normally use (i use it for cranks and spinners personally and am very pleased). I do use kvd conditioner religiously though. A good coating as soon as im done spooling it and again each nite before i go.

Invisix gets my vote.  Abrazx would also be a good choice.  I have also used Trilene 100% FC for deep cranks but I like Invisix more.
