Didn't get a pic, but I caught my first jerkbait bass today!

It wasn't a Megabass Vision, but it's a start. Ironically, it was a value series Rebel Minnow I picked up for 1.50.

Caught the bass sight fishing. He grabbed at it like 4 times before he got hooked.

Don't you know the rule.?

Thanks, man! I can't wait to catch some more on it.

Remember, a jerkbait needs to be fished in clear water so that the bass can see it from a distance.

Check the color of the jerkbait's eyes to note if it is a sinking or floating jerkbait.

Be sure to let it sit still for a few seconds between twitches.

Always have needle nose pliers with you to remove the hooks.

Always keep rod tip up when fighting the fish as any slack in the line will allow them to throw the jerkbait.

Congrats on your first jerkbait bass. I am sure there are many more on the horizon for you.
