Ike's Mini Flip Vs Strike King Bitsy Flip Opinions

Featured Replies

My usual finesse flipping jig is the Omega but I was thinking about picking up a couple of these new Ike's Minis from Missile as they look nice.  As I was looking around the TW site putting an order together I noticed that the Mini Flip looks pretty close the the SK Bitsy Flips, only the Bitsy is about 1/3 the price.  Has anybody compared these side by side? Is the Missile a little bigger perhaps? Whats your opinion on this jig? I know the original Bitsy Bug is pretty tiny. If anybody happens to have both could you post a side by side comparison pic?

Thanks and Happy Friday!

Thats a good question as I have looked at both online too....on the surface, I'd have hard time paying $5 for the ike jig that's likely to get hung.  On the other hand though, they do look great and I like the head design and hook.

You need to check out the Baby Advantage jig dig from D&L Tackle. Awesome bait!

Only jig I use. I use the 3/8 mostly, I know it's considered a finesse jig but I don't really feel like it is.

I like the SK Bitsy flip, works just fine for me. Obviously the Missile baits one would work too, but I would go with the cheaper price myself.

I have all the jigs mentioned in this thread and I like the Booyah Baby Boo Jig the best. Only $2 at tw. The quality is way better than the bitsy flip and bitsy bug.

I've used the Bitsy Flip jig for years and I have never had any problems with them. From the money side of it I like them because fishing from the bank I tend to lose quite a few. I can buy them in bulk, and they don't break my wallet.

i bought 3 they look good. Sure do think the packaging is excesive for a jig.  I bet the price would come down some if packaged lighter

Check out the Santone Texas Finesse Jig. Whatever you do, don't try the River Bream color :wink2:
