Wind = Spinnerbaits In Shallow Water = Big Bass

Featured Replies

Central Indiana

15 mph winds

Sunny, 60 degrees

Dirty water, stormed last night

I figured the wind was blowing the warmer water (and baitfish) to the shallow end of the pond.  Sure enough, as soon as I started throwing a red spinnerbait I started reeling in fish.  I caught about 20 fish in two hours.  Here are a few of my best catches...

It's very satisfying when you play a hunch and it works out.  One of my favorite things about fishing because about 8.5 times outta 10 I'll see something and KNOW it's gonna work and then....nothing.  It's the 1.5 times that keeps me going back.

Nic job. Love fishing the wind

Wheres the big bass here :)

I knew that was coming...   :)      Big-ish....

That's the great thing about fishing, you never know what that next day brings. Nice looking fish man. Pond fishing can be more fun then those pressured lakes!
