Hello everyone. This post is in regards to linking a Lowrance HDS 9 Gen 2 and a new Lowrance Elite 9 Chirp unit. I was wondering what exactly I needed. Any response is helpful. Thank you.

    I think it has to be the NMEA network for those units and they will then share waypoints.

    i love that the new gen 3 have wifi capablitiy built in so i can link to an Ipad.

    Like the others have stated, you should be able to share waypoints over a nmea network since the Elite doesn't have the ethernet port.
