Well even if it was caught in 2007 it's still a big croaker.  Biggest one I've caught might have been 2lbs.  Mostly fish under a pound. But they do fight well on light line.

Wow can you imagine what kind of noise it made?

Wow, that thing is huge. It looks a lot like a red drum, but they are in the same family. They are a fun and relaxing fish to target.

I have never seen a croaker even half that size.  Very popular fish down here, I don't target them.
